Tash McLeod

Operations Manager, WORTH Association

Tash McLeod is a dedicated advocate for safe, inclusive, and equitable workplaces. As WORTH Association’s first-ever employee and current Operations Manager, Tash has been instrumental in streamlining operations, building organizational capacity, and driving initiatives that educate, elevate, and engage women in recreation, tourism, and hospitality. With extensive experience in hospitality leadership, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and non-profit programming, she has advanced WORTH’s mission while fostering a community of belonging.

A veteran of the restaurant industry, Tash has worked alongside Vancouver's premier talent at Hawksworth, The Rosewood Hotel Georgia, Ancora, Vij’s, and Fable, showcasing a decades-long career marked by service excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies from the University of Lethbridge and is pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Evaluation at the University of Victoria’s School of Public Administration. 

Born in Guyana and of mixed-race heritage, Tash’s lived experiences deeply inform her work. She applies an intersectional approach to amplify underrepresented voices and foster meaningful conversations about diversity and inclusion. Her work is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a vision for systemic change, creating a lasting impact on individuals and communities alike.

In her free time, Tash enjoys fleeing the city to forest bathe, buying more books than she can afford or read in her lifetime, and visiting old friends at their new restaurants.
