Need help getting to the WORTH Leadership Summit?
Here’s everything you need to know about getting to and around beautiful Vancouver.
-
If you are traveling to Vancouver on a commercial airline, you will land at the Vancouver International Airport. From there, the easiest and most affordable way to get to the Westin Bayshore is to take the Skytrain, Canada Line. Get off at the Waterfront Station, and from there, you can take a short taxi ride or a 20-minute scenic walk along the waterfront to the hotel. Taxis are also available directly from the airport.
Harbour Air and Helijet are other excellent options. The Harbour Air float plane terminal in Vancouver is located near Coal Harbour, about a 10-minute walk from the Westin Bayshore along the picturesque Seawall.
-
BC Ferries offers return trips for both vehicle and walk-on passengers. Connect to Vancouver from Nanaimo’s Departure Bay Terminal to Horseshoe Bay. Alternatively, you can connect from Victoria’s Swartz Bay terminal to Tsawwassen. Both of these journeys take approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Reserve your ticket by booking directly through BC Ferries. From Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen, you can drive or take public transit into downtown Vancouver, then follow directions to the Westin Bayshore.
Hullo is a fast, convenient ferry option for traveling between Nanaimo and downtown Vancouver. This foot-passenger ferry brings you to Vancouver’s waterfront in just 70 minutes, with four sailings per day. Upon arrival, the Westin Bayshore is a short 10-minute taxi or rideshare trip, or about a 25-minute scenic walk along the waterfront. Book your trip directly through Hullo.
-
Taxis, Lyft, and Uber are also available in Vancouver. Download Uber or Lyft’s apps to book your next ride.
Taxi options in downtown Vancouver include:
Black Top & Checker Cab (604) 731-1111
Vancouver Taxi 604-871-1111 or 604-255-5111
Yellow Cab Vancouver (604) 681-1111
